Refund policy

At The Velvet Loom, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our garments. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review our policy below regarding returns and exchanges.

1. The "Golden Rule" of Returns: Tags Attached

To maintain the integrity of our collections, we have a strict policy regarding product tags:

  • Attached Tags Required: All items must be returned with the original The Velvet Loom security tags and brand labels firmly attached in their original position.

  • Non-Returnable Status: If the tags have been cut, torn, removed, or re-attached, the product is considered final sale. It is non-returnable and non-refundable.

  • No Exceptions: We cannot process a refund or exchange for any item that has had the tags tampered with, even if the garment appears unworn.

2. Return Window

You have 2 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Items sent back after this window will not be accepted.

3. Condition of Items

In addition to the tag requirement, items must be returned in their original condition:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.

  • Free of scents (perfume, smoke, etc.).

  • Free of stains (makeup, deodorant, etc.).

  • In the original packaging.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Items with removed or torn tags.

  • Sale or "Final Sale" items.

5. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at [Insert Email Address] with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Once your return is authorized, we will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions.

  3. Securely pack your item (ensuring the tags are protected) and ship it back to us.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved: Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within [5-10] business days.

  • Rejected: If the item is returned with torn tags or in poor condition, we will notify you that the refund has been denied. In this case, the item can be shipped back to you at your expense.

7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange an item for a different size, please follow the return process and place a new order.

NOTE: PLEASE RECORD A VIDEO BEFORE OPENING YOU'RE PACKAGE INCASE ANY VERIFICATION REQUIRED DURING THE RETURNING OF THE PRODUCT.
